Should it be squandered on self-indulgence
Flaunting it to not explain it
To minds that need so disparately
A voice that will shout
What they cannot allow themselves to think

Freedom in itself
Is an obligation to express the lack of

How many vigorous, intense images
Have the talentless hands of the church
Forced out of the hands of masters
During the reign of the Roman Catholic Church

Now commercialism is that Church
Selling out is common
But no longer necessary
Convicted statements
From the stressed out souls
And hollowed eyes
Of consumers driven to madness
We cannot perpetuate this any longer?
