In which We are Introduced to
Winnie-the-Pooh and Some Bees

Winnie-the-Pooh was walking down the forest path when he heard a Buzzing. Thinking to himself he said, "the only reason for making a buzzing noise that I know of is if you're a bee. And the only reason for being a bee that I know is making hunny. And the only reason for making hunny is so as I can eat it." Having decided that Winnie-the-Pooh began to climb the tree. It was a very tall tree and he climbed for quite some time. First he sang a little song about how much he liked hunny. Then, as the climbing became very tiresome, he sang a Complaining Song about how bees should live at the bottom off trees.

All of a sudden he heard a crack and fell about sixty feet right into a gorse bush.

Thinking of what to do next Pooh went over to visit his friend Christopher Robin. They decided that Pooh would roll in the mud to look like a little black rain cloud and use a blue balloon that looked like a bit of sky to float up to the top of the tree to get the hunny.

When Pooh got to the top of the tree he found the bees sounded suspicious. Then one of the bees stung him and Pooh decided that they were the wrong sort of bees and would make the wrong sort of hunny. So Christopher Robin got his gun and took careful aim to shoot the balloon and get Pooh down gently.
