1990 Began employment for life with freelance artist Tate Madler while he was in the culinary profession and urged him to stay home and work for himself. Performed general office security by destroying vital documents at my own discretion. 1991 Transferred to Brooklyn NY Pratt Institute location. Did covert cloak-and-dagger night missions to survey the terrain and met with representatives of the campus "Pratt Cat" community while avoiding detection and scrutiny of Resident Assistants. Later developed relationships that conceived three small child projects codenamed "Thelma" and "Chubby" and "Wednesday". Caught first mouse in the field near Cannoneer Court. Also modeled for painting, "Self Portrait 5" by Tate Madler.
1992 Nurtured child projects to complete their training for IRL scenarios. Went on to become the first "Pratt Cat" to reside in campus housing with consent from the president Warren Ilchmann himself. Debut performance for video documentation test reels.

Began occupation of Creative Director's chair and duty of prewarming of all chairs of the board.
1995 Continued assisting Creative Director by providing inspiration and moral support. Also did surveillance and continued other general office duties. Spawned the "Pooh Bunch" project which unfortunately got slightly unweildly and brought in the North Shore Animal League for assistance.

BACKGROUND

Originally, a gift to a friend of Tate's, Trisha Breed, from her boyfriend. Tate received Butch from her because she thought he needed someone to keep him company and she was allergic to cats. For Butch's first three months with Tate she did not have a name because the given one of "Lovecat" seemed quite inappropriate and Tate believed that her disposition would reveal her name. This hypothesis proved to be largely true. Although affectionate and kind, if she does not like someone or something she is not hesitant to make it known. Resemblance to the feminist term is coincidental, however, let it be mentioned here that out of over 12 kittens only one was male. Weird or not, you decide.

By no means is she considered owned, as often many pet keepers declare their animals possessions. She is an independent and self-willed member of The Qru. Definatively she is a KnowMad, able to travel and take care of herself, but very much staying close to the group because she wants to. She has made several contributions to our team and associates, in the form of affection and giving life to several kittens that have gone on to live with other Qru members. Of these kittens There are Wolpert and Splotches, Gargoyle, Thelma, and several others. Currently an indoor cat Butch still has all her claws and enjoys a diet of purely fish and fish flavored products and the occasional raw egg. Strangely, she finds some carpet fluffs to be quite a delicacy.

The spiked collar is representative of her attitude. Actually, (despite some peoples' doubt) she is rather uncomfortable without it. When she is tired it is ridgid enough to serve as a headrest, she just relaxes her neck and closes her eyes.
