"Why do they call it rush hour if nothing moves."
~Robin Williams

Currently engaged offsite, Qru Studios is pounding the pavement in the open air bringing several firms affiliated with Madler & Peldyak into the information age. We have also been taking care of business on the homefront with archiving of our previous work and continuous efforts to keep our site up to date with so much that changes so rapidly. Several new clients are coming in from the North and the East, along with scattered showerings of hardware and media which have already begun and are expected to continue throughout the week. Success is in the air and we are looking forward to fairer weathers. You have all been witness to our voyages and adventures, we look forward to your joining us for even more exciting and interesting rewards to come.

Banner
A Java banner has been added to the index page of Qru's News. Through the use of this simple scrolling text each visitor will be able to see what important things have happened before they even read the newsletter. This week the banner congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Elizabeth Madler, on their 40th wedding anniversary, parents of five with four grandchildren. We would like to wish them many more years filled with joy, happiness, good health and success.

Burning the Night Away
Qru Studios has been putting our newly operative CD-ROM writer to good use. Much of our past work as well as software that no longer needs to be kept on the hard drive but should be retained for posterity is being backed onto a stack of CDs provided by Madler & Peldyak as a bonus for the work done on their LAN.

Mogour Majick
Earlier this week a rare part was found to bring The Castle (main workstation of Mogur of the KnowMadz) back from it's inoperative state. The Chieftain of the KnowMadz assisted with the final incantations from ancient text documents bringing this powerful workstation back to life with even greater capability and benefiting The Studio a Fax/modem in gratitude for their assistance to the KnowMadz.

From the Administration
David Cole has been increasing his repertoire of perl and common gateway programming by adding polish and finesse to the administration scripts for both Fiduciary Trust International and the iNTRAport this past week. A public demonstration of the latter, as well as onsite demonstration of the former is in the process of being scheduled. Details will be posted as they develop.

Magnetic Personalities
Added to the ever-growing list of elements being brought to the general public by Hardcorp are Iron, Cobalt and Nickel. These elements are unique in that they are the only three that are capable of creating their own magnetic field. Iron and nickel comprise the inner and outer core of the earth creating the polar magnetic field.

Client Side
Waiting for Gudot
Work is approaching level 1 closure at the installation at Madler and Peldyak and neighboring related offices. Tate has been doing everything from software selection to to hard drive and port installs. Mostly assisting in migration from a Novell system to Windows NT Client/Server and updating records to comply with newer software. Tate has also been tutoring those familiar with the command line based DOS system in techniques of modern computing, sometimes having to start with the basics like best utilization of the mouse, but also taking advantage of opportunities like assisting with telephone line installation on their PBX system. This week Tate will be installing Internet and remote access on the server named Gudot which has only been delayed by the absence of active outside phone lines.
More work is coming in from Chicago Gaelic Park. What will it be this time, you will just have to wait for the new additions.
