Today is Labor Day and after what we have been doing we need the day off. We recommend that you all do the same so that none of our competition gets a day up on us. So everyone sit back, put on the BBQ and have a laborless Labor Day! |

Server Solutions A number of our Chicago area consultants met at Qru Studios this week to discuss the implementation of new standards in our programming. This will better enable our programmers to work with each others' code as well as simplify posting, administration and use of all scripts as well as enhance security. Currently we are in the process of preparing a core group of scripts for fill-in-form-and-go application of featured components with our hosting service. When the system is in place any Qru member will be able to add any script from this core to almost any web site with little to no knowledge of the programming languages involved. This will enable us to give our clients highly interactive sites at a minimal cost and with a shorter wait time for a finished product and guaranteed results. As we work out new features for our design and hosting services our readers will be the first to know and the first to be able to take advantage of this revolutionary tool in site design and creation. |

LAN of the Lost After we posted our LAN on qru.com, the KnowMadz realized that their LAN was just as vital to our development as the current system is to our progress. Compiled from a motley group of computers that were considered quite advanced in their brief tour of glory, most of the machines were provided by Osiris and have since been returned as the KnowMadz wandered on. Of course the exception being the recent and untimely loss of Spawn the workstation used by Shamen. In commemoration of the computers on which we developed our skills, we have posted the LAN of the Lost which will shortly migrate to the KnowMadz site. For a nostalgic look at computers of yesterday and tomorrow please review our LAN pages. |

Silicon Most of us know that silicon is the element used to build computer chips. Few of us know anything more about this material including what properties it has making the information age possible. If you forgot what they told you in chemistry class, The Silicon Page is your chance to reawaken that inner chemist in all of us. Now you can learn more facts about silicon by visiting the new Silicon Page on Hardcorp's site. Working under the motto of "If you take society's tools, you will make society's rules!" Hardcorp promotes the furtherance of scientific knowledge to the plebeian masses. Stay tuned for further useful element planned to appearing on Hardcorp's pages on a weekly basis.
Newsletter More improvements have been made to the on-line version of Qru's News. One of the most useful additions being a search engine that has been added to assist you with exploring our archive of weekly updates and changes. We have also added prominent links to our vital on-line locations such as our Space Contents pages, and the Inner Outpost. The newsletter has become more than a valuable resource for what we have done, it provides an easy way to get there also.

Greater Gaelic Site In process of updating Chicago Gaelic Park's site this week, we realized that the changes required warranted a virtual overhaul of the site. With a purge of old material and a bounty of new events and announcements, the site we have created has become an even more streamlined with more consistent navigation as well as accommodates improved growth for their upcoming year of events. The popularity of their site has not gone unnoticed by the Gaelic Park board with more than 2200 visitors to their homepage alone they will soon be allowing for you to send them feedback and ask for more information on events. |
