Notes From You

"There are two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group; there is less competition there."
~Indira Ghandi

Exciting things are underway. A new section of our sites is currently in progress. We have a new recruit at the Studio. The sWAN project has proven to be highly successful. Telecommuting and all sorts extras have been brought to the public by Qru. Read on for details.

ReQRUting
We would like to welcome to the ranks of Qru Studios Stacia Zomora. Stacia has started her training as an all around technician with the assembly of several PCs for one of our clients as the serial numbers are recorded for inventory. For her first project Stacia is developing a site containing some never before seen photographs of alternative rock idol, Morrissey. This will make up a portion of US AND THEM, a new section soon to be added to our portfolio. We look forward to working with Stacia and hope that you may all get a chance to meet her soon.

On the LAN
OfficeJet Set
On Monday, the law firm of Madler & Peldyak donated a Hewlett Packard OfficeJet 500 to the Studio. This state-of-the-art tool is a scanner, fax machine, copier, and printer. The 500 model is a mid-range unit in the all-in-one family of products from Hewlett Packard and as advertised will increase efficiency around The Studio a great deal. Also installed is a new wireless telephone, voicemail system that is independent of the computers to allow for maximum effectiveness from the field through remote access. With previous and all these new accouterments the Hydra has become the most functional "multimedia" computer on the LAN, err or see...

Recovery
A round of intensive upgrades on the Hundred Acre Woods, affectionately know as "Pooh" by The Studio, resulted in growing pains for the Bear of Very Little Brain. Problems were discovered in the File Allocation Table (FAT) and were fixed through the expertise of Tate Madler. Pooh is well on route to recovery of full faculty and just in time for more adventures.

On the See
sWAN
In celebration of recent successes and as course of duty the sWAN page has a new splash screen. Previously unoccupied, the image was made through a menagerie of images, from all parts of the sWAN graphical representation development. Also joining forces please welcome the Homework workgroup through visiting their new pages online.

Hydrogen
This week Hardcorp is presenting Hydrogen on the Periodic Table, the most basic of all the elements. Consisting of only 1 proton and 1 electron, hydrogen is vital to many chemical reactions including the original atomic bombs.

Client Side
Working At Home
Sick days are no longer a problem at Madler & Peldyak. One of the associates of the firm was unable to come into work on Monday after having taken ill. However, through the miracles of modern networking recently installed in the associate's home and office by Tate, he was able to enter the office server and upload and download all the files as were needed. This was the first application of our sWAN capabilities in real life scenario. Overall rated a success this trail lends way to get testimonial accounts of how the sWAN can help everybody that has a computer at home and at work.

Qru Studios has been contracted by an independent reseller to design a small web site advertising her wares. To go up within the week is a collection of diamond jewelry as well as earrings with a matching broach containing real coral.
