In the elder days of art
Builders wrought with greatest care
Each minute and unseen part
For the Gods see everywhere.
~Longfellow, The Builders

Scripts We Offer

Skyrocketing Hit Counts

Over the past few months you have heard mention of the various feature on our sites. Now we can give you a list of the scripts that we currently offer to our clients. Our clients can add to their sites: a local site search engine, mailing list, calendar, database application, mail forms, or an on-line forum for discussion. We are also developing a program allowing people to upload their bookmark list to the Inner Outpost. While this may not be of great demand amongst our clients, it will better enable us to give you a listing of content driven sites that are of interest.

This week saw our hit count soar. Most of the week surpassed the 2000 hit per day mark with one day achieving well above 3000 hits on our combined sites. Qru Studios receives accesses ranging from 600 to 1300 daily with The KnowMadz close behind at about 400 to 900 daily with a couple of days over 1000. The Inner Outpost, "qru.com's looking glass" just recently upgraded to domain status from a subsection of Qru Space is recieving 100 to 400 hits daily. Anticorp is a rather humorous political satire that has recently been posted as it's own domain. While not our major attraction, they do get over 40 hits daily with some days exceeding 100 by a healthy margin. We can attribute the greater number of hits in general to several factors. The Vampire Gallery is quite a popular area of qru.com we hope to see the enthusiasm continue and grow. The greater resource of interactive content like The Inner Outpost Chat, The KnowMadz Forum and Meta/Theology section are also major contributors. Several improvements in the navigation architecture and several aesthetic ajustments as well as additions to our content. Imporvements like increased access to our Content Page and it's pivitol role in allowing greater reach into remote areas of our site, and of course this newsletter. At present we feel that the statistics have been too erratic to make any longterm projections. but it appears that our goal of over one thousand hits a day on average is eminantly a reality.
If you haven't been to qru.com lately don't be the only one, go to where everybody else already is: on-line at qru.com.

Contest for Qru Fans

A table of contents has been added to the Content Page in Space. A complete site map giving people access to up to sections up to three levels deep, Content will now more easily lead people to exactly where they want to go. We still have all the planets and satellites that allowed people to explore with an element of surprise. The various parts of our image map are still the best way to reach the individual pages within Space. We have also added a search engine for the space folder. With several unique subsections floating in space, this will be a great way to find things you otherwise might not expect in our site.

At the end of the month Qru Studios will be hosting a contest with a cash prize. While details cannot be revealed at this time, we recommend that you become very familiar with the various sections of our sites. Happy browsing and stay tuned for more details!

Tech Tips has moved to its own newsletter. You can sign up to get Tech Tips every other Wednesday in your e-mailbox just as conveniently as you get Qru's News or link to it off of the web page of this newsletter. Tech Tips also has a forum where people can post their questions and have them answered either by the staff of Qru Studios or by anyone else who reads it.
