| Due to popular demand Qru Studios now has a newsletter. For those who are new to our site, Qru is a web site design firm specializing in multimedia production. Our own sites are constantly being updated to include our new capabilities. This newsletter gives our regular visitors a way to find what's new without having to look through everything and new visitors an easy way to learn what we can do and how to find our points of interest. |

Top of the News

This week saw all of our domains placed on the same server. We can now offer our clients greater bandwidth allowing faster access to our sites as well as those of our clients. This change will also allow us more freedom to explore all medium and new technologies on the Internet. Greater communication with our service provider enables us to experiment with a variety of scripts currently being worked on by David Cole. All this will better allow us to serve you, our clients, fans and friends. This would be a great time to take a second look at last weeks feature, the Halls of Qru as all of its features can now be experienced. |

In a bold step not yet taken by other companies, Qru Studios proudly presents its LAN. At last, you can take a close up look at the computers behind the company. Each one is modeled in 3d by Tate Madler and can be viewed in VRML. Or, if you prefer, on its own home page with picture and biography. Each computer links to the page of the person who runs it. |

On the LAN
|
We would like to thank all of our visitors for making these past few months so successful for us. The statistics have been tabulated for qru.com and we did very well. Qru Studios clocked in with 18,224 hits in our first 3 months of re-posting. We have been visited by people from 46 countries around the world. The United Kingdom was our number one international constituent with Australia coming in at a close second. To complete our top 5 list we have Canada, Sweden and Norway respectively. Many of our hits came from Non-for-Profit and Educational groups with a profound percentage of hits from the corporate sector. And kudos to the one Arpanet client who tried to view our work. While the results are still not complete for our other sites, we expect to have a combined total of well over 25,000 total for the quarter. Thank you again for your continued and strong support and if you have not been through in a while, stop by. We are constantly updating so there will always be something new and our tried and true work is, like a good book, always worth coming back to. |

Now it is even easier to find information on our sites. Qru the KnowMadz and Anticorp have just gotten their own search engines designed by David Cole. Whether you are interested in our art work, literature or our site design and hosting services, you can find this information at the touch of a button.
The Inner Outpost has recently undergone an overhaul. It now offers multi selects (drop down boxes), navigation and input via javascript, and a url entry field which can take you to any location on the Internet. Other features include floating menus (remote control) and full viewport (maximize) eliminating Netscape (i.e. menu, location bar, buttons) for a larger viewing area |

The KnowMadz now have an interactive map. It has ships with cloaking devices, ticklish monsters, swirling whirlpools and more. The different areas of the map bring you to the various sites affiliated with or of interest to the KnowMadz. |
