Constructed in October of 1997, rumor of its demise occured in March of 1998 after a bizarre twist of fate, not unlike the legend of which it foretold. Sadly, the performance of the PCI architechture with the 100MHz CPU and multimedia capabilities made this a viable, and at time preferrable terminal for most users. The true pity is that the machine could not be recycled to a more deserving user.
