Summarian Symbols

The Summarian religion was dating back to 3000 B.C. and are the originators of many theological legends to date. Stories of creation and salvation are quite similar to those of the ancient Greeks and early Christians to come. Their god named Summa-Tiamat whose male counterpart was Cthulu; were gods of fire. In their stories of heaven and earth there was a falling out among the heavens and the Mother Tiamat fell into a deep dormancy which became Earth itself, and man was created from the blood of Tiamat and the breath of Marduk (The highest power). Differing from more modern religions in bias that human beings are essentially good but they too are promised the return of Cthulu (Leviathan). One of the more unique characteristics of this religion (among numerous long and involved rituals) was the belief that they could see their gods. Above are depicted just a few of their hundreds of symbols making up the rights to priesthood.
