On Music?

The answers are as numerous as grains of sand in the desert, or waves on the ocean ever-forming and changing into each other.

There is probably a different definition for each person at each moment in their lives, even multiple meanings at each moment -- and then the next instant passes. But I'll try my best to be as coherent as possible: Music is the manifestation of Eternal Feeling as Sound. The various elements of the Infinite Pattern of the Universe are illuminated through this process, each element pertaining to its own unique feeling (which is composed of innumerable feelings) within the Soul of the listener/performer, bringing that feeling into incarnation.

All music is actually part of one Infinite Symphony, boundlessly intricate and elaborate, forming ultimately, in the same way that all colors as one form light,the One Sound which gives birth to all Form. Culture is but an expression of Music. People, as patterns of sound, fit together in their culture as a Song. This Song, however, exists only within the "minds" of the individuals, each of which has a totally unique perception of it.

Each perception is a different Song, and each Song is part of the Symphony which is the individual. In other words, whereas on the surface it may appear that a person is part of one's culture, and exists within one's culture, in actuality one's culture is part of oneself and exists within oneself. The person who you are as you relate to your culture is a part of that culture, i.e. your ego. But the culture itself is but a dream of your Higher Self, the true identity of your consciousness, which is comprised of its dreams, then looking through the prism of Sound.

So, in affect you are within yourself, as both a note and the Symphony. Culture is a dream of the Self, and is a context in which the Self dreams itself, Music is the Dream, the flesh and blood of the Dreamer.
