In which I Thank All of the People Who Made This Page Possible

I would never have been able to do this site without the help of so many wonderful people. Some of you know who you are and some of you helped without even knowing it. That is the nature of the Internet. I would like to thank every one of you who was instrumental in the making of this page and include a link to your pages as a thank you.

First I have to thank Tate Madler for being very patient when I first learned to use a computer and for teaching me HTML. It was initially his idea for me to do a Winnie-the-Pooh site. I also want to thank him for always believing me when I handed him my Pooh Bear and said "Pooh loves you!"

James Milne made A Page at Pooh Corner, the first Pooh site that I found on the Internet. It remains to this day the most informative site I have found about our beloved Bear and I go there often for reference. I hope that when he graduates this spring he does not let it get lost. If you read this James, I am willing to host your site free of charge for one year on my server.

My original idea for a Pooh site was identical to Katie Prunka's Expotition. I am very glad to have found hers because it is so much better than the one I would have made.

An Enchanted Page by David Sherrod will always be a most enjoyable place to visit. His endless list of links helped me find some very wonderful and useful sites about Winnie-the-Pooh. He is also responsible for my finding the time to put this site into VRML.

A.D. Sullivan wrote an original story about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends called "A Stranger at Pooh Corner." Not only is it a wonderful piece of literature, it also reminded me that Pooh is not a static idea to put on a shelf, but a life force that must be allowed to evolve and to change as he gets re-invented by each person who loves him.

I "borrowed" a lot of graphics off of other sites including The Home Page at Pooh Corner by Richard L. Cox and Pooh Pictures Page by Mark A. Brown.

There was one other absolutely wonderful page out there that I got the disclaimer at the beginning of this site from but I cannot seem to find it anymore. It had a chat and the background was a full colour picture of Christopher Robin with Pooh and a balloon underneath a tree. If anyone finds it please let me know.

Lastly I have to thank Chris Havens. He gave me my very own Winnie-the-Pooh during a very lonely winter and it followed me everywhere (college, job, etc.) While he may never see this or be on the Internet I want to tell him that the gift he gave me was very special and he will always be in my heart for it.

Of course the most important people to thank are A.A., Christopher Robin and Daphne Milne, who with the help of Ernest H. Sheppard, Edward Bear, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Roo made the phenomenon that is Winnie-the-Pooh possible.

NOW LET'S GO HAVE SOME ADVENTURES!!!
